This week, I am grateful for my last week of rest before going back to work. I am grateful for time spent at home crafting, cooking, reading, surfing the net, playing with the dogs, watching TV, waiting for hubby to get home, cleaning the house, soaking in the tub, editing photos, sleeping in, munching on late night snacks. I had the best time!

This week, I’ve completed all the requirements for my clearance, ending with my exit interview. I am grateful for a good conversation with my former HR colleague.

This week, I got to try a new resto. We ordered Salted Duck Egg Yolk Crab. Oh my goodness. So good! So sinful! But so good! We also ordered Sizzling Squid Korean Style. Also very yummy. I am grateful for the wonderful blessing of food indulgences.

The sauce was made of pureed Salted Duck Egg Yolk. Yumminess!

This week, we got to celebrate the birthdays of both my FIL and SIL. We had a pool party and I cooked pancit and lumpiang shanghai. It was tiring but my in-laws went home happy. Best reward ever!

This week, I got to pamper myself with a facial, foot spa, mani and pedi. All in preparation for my return to the workforce. So blessed!

I am thankful for this wonderful week. Looking forward to the coming week! God bless us all!
