July 16-22, 2012
This week, Ariel and I celebrated our 159th monthsary. I know very few people who celebrate monthsaries. Some can’t even remember their anniversary. As for Ariel and myself, we love celebrations. I’m grateful for our many months together. I’m grateful for our little celebrations. And I look forward to more years, months, days together, by the grace of God.
This week, I also found out that another photo of mine is available in the Windows Personalization Gallery. While it isn’t a paid gig, I am grateful nonetheless that my photo was chosen from among the submissions. Here is the link to the Windows Theme. If you have Windows 7, feel free to download the dynamic theme.
This week, I had dinner with good friends Gen, Grace and Gabs. I am thankful that God has blessed me with friends from work. These three were former colleagues, and I am grateful that we’ve managed to stay in touch even after years of going our separate ways. I really enjoy our occasional dinner dates. This time, it was to celebrate Grace’s birthday. So blessed to have them in my life.
This week, I received news of something exciting. Something that will alter the course of my life. Can’t say much about it yet but I will share at the right time. God is good!
This week, we harvested a few atis fruits from our backyard. We have a couple of fruit bearing trees and they are vistually maintenance free. We just let them be and they bear fruits in season. Kind of reminds me of this verse:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26
Thank you Lord for a great week!
