This week, I am grateful…

For yet another Sunday worship service, where the message felt like it was written for me.

For a simple dinner date Sunday night which ended with coffee at Cafe Ti Amo. Been wanting to try it, though we were too full to get gelato, so we just enjoyed their coffee, perfect for a rainy evening.

For the Happiness gifts this week. They may be small things, but they are blessings just the same.

Today's gift of happiness
Still consistent with the Filipino theme, we got this book filled with fun facts about Pinoys.

For free Big and Tasty coupon. I have not redeemed it yet but I am looking forward to trying this new offering at Mc Donald’s. I am not really a burger fan but I’ve heard good things about this.

I wonder if it's really as good as they say. Will try it this weekend. Thanks to the generous donor of this coupon.

For a free Starbucks drink. I just answered their online customer satisfaction survey and got this for free. Simple pleasures!

For happy Friday surprises. We gave our boss’ boss an advanced birthday surprise. We hid in her room and sang happy birthday when she came in. Her reaction was one for the books! Hilarious! Wish we caught it on video! Fun times!

Surprise birthday celebration for our Biz Intel Director. Chocolate Truffle cake from Sugar House - yum! We also had Lasagna from Greenwich, and bread/buns and siomai from Kopi Roti. Best surprised reaction ever! Wish we caught it on video.

For this week’s happy Friday lunch. I got to try a new resto again (some of my lunch buddies have tried it before), and though we are still a bit full from the surprise birthday food (see above), we still got to enjoy our lunch.

For Friday TV marathons. This is what I look forward to on Fridays. Other couple brave the Friday night traffic in Makati. Ariel and I head home as early as we can and spend a quiet night in our room, glued to the TV, munching on late night junk food. This time, I was able to buy some cheese, grapes and crackers. We already have a few bottles of red wine at home so it was wine and cheese for us tonight.
