Not that I am ungrateful for my work, but I welcome long breaks and extra time with my family. So I am grateful for the 4-day weekend this week which gave me time to do a lot of things.
First, I started the weekend feeling sick so I took a much needed rest to recuperate.
Went for a short trip to the supermarket to replenish our food supply and prepare for our All Saint’s Day family gathering.
We celebrated Ate Ezel’s birthday and I baked carrot cake for us to share.

Ariel brought out the cake for Ate Ezel – it’s tiny! |
We got to visit the cemetery and teach the younger kids about tradition.

When we got back to work on Wednesday, we found the office all decked out for Christmas. Made me feel happy.

I got to go to the gym once this week. Not ideal, but still better than nothing so I am thankful.
Before I knew it, it’s Friday and another long weekend awaits. Thank God for all the blessings and I wish you all a blessed weekend!
