On Monday, our ASEAN K&I Director came over for a series of meetings and I had a chance to share some of the projects I’ve lead. I was very happy that he liked it. We also had a chance to discuss a few other career-related issues and it was a very fruitful albeit short discussion. So thankful for that opportunity to chat with our regional director. I needed that.
That same Monday, Ariel texted me to say he got us tickets to the Andrew Lloyd Webber show for Tuesday. They’re free! I was so thrilled! I wanted to see that show but we already spent for another show and didn’t have budget for this one. When I got home, Ariel handed me the tickets and I realized, they are for the best seats in the theater. Isn’t God awesome?! So, we drove to CCP on Tuesday night, amid heavy traffic in Makati to see the show. It was great! I am so grateful for the opportunity to listen to the music of one of the most gifted musicians in the world of musical theater. Thank you Lord for this blessing.
By this time, going to the gym at least twice a week has become part of my routine. This week, however, my trainer really pushed me hard. Harder than ever. I grunted, and panted, and complained a lot, but I followed her program and pushed myself. It was hard work! But I was so pleased with my progress. I thank God for my trainer who, after 3 months, have come to know my abilities better than I do. She knows when to push harder, and when to step back. I am so thankful that our schedules match because I cannot imagine having any other trainer. And while I often whine (thank God she is unaffected by my whining!), I really appreciate her. Really!
Last Thursday, I attended a Photography Club meeting at the church and we discussed our planned activities for the year. I am happy to see my friends again, and happy to have activities to look forward to in the coming months. It really feels good to be part of this group and I’m looking forward to our next meeting.
Happy weekend everyone!
